Hand-hammered with the ancient Chinese forging technique, ZhenSanHuan proudly holds the patent for the ZhangQiu iron wok. This traditional cold working technique, historically used for crafting weapons, involves 12 intricate processes and an impressive 36,000 hand hammerings.

Our craftsmanship caught the attention of the acclaimed documentary series, A Bite of China, which featured our wok in December 2018. Additionally, in January 2020, we were selected as the official kitchenware supplier for the China pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai UAF.

Starting from a raw iron board, our wok undergoes a transformative journey through 36,000 hammerings, resulting in a high-density surface that becomes more nonstick with each use. The wok's active iron material creates a protective oxide layer that promotes its nonstick properties naturally.

Through hot forging and meticulous attention to detail in 12 distinct processes, each wok is hand-hammered to perfection with 150-200 hammer strikes per square centimeter. The polished surface resembles a mirror, enabling ingredients to effortlessly move across the cooking surface.

Our woks do not contain any coatings or paints, ensuring a healthy cooking experience. The high-density surface efficiently conducts heat, reduces oil absorption, and minimizes smoke production. Each wok is a testament to the dedication of our artisans, who carry on the tradition of our intangible cultural heritage.
